Written by RSS Poster ListMessenger.net

ListMessenger.net will be closed in December 2015. Our current clients have already been informed about this. We have stopped accepting new account requests in October 2014.

Fire: New pricing model starting October 1, 2012

Written by RSS Poster ListMessenger.net

Starting October 1, 2012, we’re introducing a new rate card for accounts at ListMessenger.net:

  • 1 year subscription plus 10,000 mail credits: 149 US$
  • 1 year subscription plus 100,000 mail credits: 309 US$ (17.5% discount)
  • 1 year subscription plus 200,000 mail credits = 499 US$ (25% discount)
  • additional mail credits purchased separately: 30 US$ for 10,000 mail credits

Mail credits will be valid for 1 year after purchase. This applies to mail credits added when opening or renewing an account, but also to mail credits purchased later.

For existing customers, any mail credits purchased prior to October 1, 2012, will remain valid indefinitely.

Fire: 14 tips for HTML Email newsletter design

Written by RSS Poster ListMessenger.net

When creating HTML Email newsletters, designers should keep in mind that there are a lot of similarities, but even more differences between displaying content on a web page in a browser and effectively showing content in an e-mail client. Many common techniques of web page design simply do not work in e-mail.

Cameron Chapman of Sixrevisions.com wrote a very useful blog post about this subject, with many examples, best practices and recommendations: Creating HTML Emails: An Overview for Web Designers.

  • Pacific Daylight Saving Time: between 3 AM and 9 AM

We apologize in advance for any inconvenience caused by this maintenance work.

Update October 16 7 AM EDT: maintenance work has been completed.

Fire: New website ListMessenger.net

Written by RSS Poster ListMessenger.net

The ListMessenger.net website has been updated. We also took this opportunity to add a lot of new information about e-mail marketing and sending e-mail newsletters.

Fire: New pricing scheme ListMessenger.net

Written by RSS Poster ListMessenger.net

Today, ListMessenger.net announce a new pricing scheme. The price of an account is now US$ 149 per year, which comes with credits to send 10,000 mails. Users can order extra mail credits at a price of US$ 30 per 10,000 mails.

In the past, there was a multi level pricing scheme, depending on the number of e-mails per year. However, there were also different levels of functionality, the more expensive packages had more features than the less expensive packages. A number of customers told us they would like to have the advanced features of the more expensive packages.

Making the pricing scheme easier and more transparent, we think ListMessenger.net will become much more appealing to many more customers.
