Fire: Mailing List Deletion

Written by RSS Poster Newsletter RSS Feed

Good Morning

Sorry for the lack of emails lately, the reason being we simply can no longer cope with the amount of email bounces we get from people who have changed their email address or have simply deleted it. We are also limited in terms of costs with this system as it uses credits and we simply do not use enough to warrant keeping it, as we are going to lose credits we have paid for up front.

So, with immediate effect, this will be the last email you shall ever get from us using this system.

For those of you who wish to join our new system, please feel free to do so at the link at the bottom of our site. It is hoped the new system will be of more use as the system will monitor returned emails and delete them for us, or at least make it easier for us to do so.

We look forward to welcoming you on the new list.

Kind regards

Fire: Recruitment Update Aug 2010

Written by RSS Poster Newsletter RSS Feed

I wish this newsletter would bring good news to all those who are wanting to pursue a career within the Fire and Rescue Service. However, with rumours that Notts Fire and Rescue have just postponed their latest campaign, it no wonder your all feeling a little anxious. There is no other explanation for the slowdown in recruitment other than the financial situation the county finds itself in at the moment, savings have to be made and until this is done, we fear recruitment will remain on hold.

With companies and services looking to cut cost, we too have to look at how this effects the site and the impact this has on keeping the site going. I am pleased to say that we continue to run and maintain the site despite the lack of recruitment; this is primarily down to our sponsors.

With the above in mind, I would like to draw your attention to the actual section of our site, which contains the links to our sponsors in the hope you can not only help the site by keeping these sponsors on board, but you may just find yourself saving some hard...

Fire: Site Updates at UK Fire Service Resources

Good Evening

We thought we would take this opportunity to tell you about a few new additions to the site.

We have all heard about them, most of use them, many of us hate them, but social network sites are commonplace these days.  We do try our best to keep up with technology and if it can benefit our visitors, then we are willing to give it a go.

With the above in mind, we have introduced several links to social network sites, which we hope you can use.

The idea is that we can communicate with you all much quicker and in the method that best suits you.  For example, many mobile phones now have the ability to use sites such as Twitter and Face book. We could then use these avenues to get important information to you quicker without you having to log on to our site or forum.

So without going into the specifics of it all, here are 3 links, which we hope you can make use of.

Firstly, we have reintroduced our RSS Feed, more information can be found here

Secondly, we have linked the above...

Fire: North East Recruitment

Written by RSS Poster Newsletter RSS Feed

North East Recruitment

Firefighter recruitment within the North East of England covers the following Fire and Rescue Services:-

  • Cleveland Fire Brigade
  • County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue
  • Northumberland Fire and Rescue
  • Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue

Application forms for the above will be available from tomorrow the 4th November here.

We would imagine that the time frame for applications will be very short due to the popularity of the positions.

As always, help is available via our web site recruitment pages, where you can find all you need to know and can purchase products to assist you further.

Our forum is also a valuable place for information and has recently been updated. Please feel free to join.

Good luck to all.
