Police: Err… Why do we bother?

A top judge has said he was ‘probably doing the wrong thing’ as he let a burglar walk free.  Judge Simon Bourne-Arton QC made the comment as he sentenced Jason Dalfred Wheatley who was once given a three-year jail-term for being a passenger in a stolen car which killed an eight-year-old boy.He passed a 10-month prison sentence, but suspended it, telling Wheatley: ‘I strongly believe that you should be ordered to serve that immediately.’But I am just going to give you one last chance. But understand this; it is your last chance.’He suspended the sentence for two years with 18 months’ supervision and a year’s drug rehabilitation. He added: ‘I firmly believe I’m probably doing the wrong thing here. If you come back before me I will know I’ve done the wrong thing. Gee…you think? Whilst, I applaud any man that gives another human being a helping hand… However, this is a career criminal. He has served time for being in a stolen car that killed an 8-year old child. Of course…that...

I have had a lot of people send me good wishes and encouragement to keep blogging…

Sadly…I have had a fair amount of nasty people that are being mean to me…

It saddens me that people have such shallow and empty lives that they must try to put other people down to make themselves feel better.

I know, from experience how difficult it is for some people to accept change…

So… here is a little video that will melt the heart of even the most cynical person…even the sub-human troll…

here it is ….

Bless…little kitten having a mare cuddled by his mummy…just what the nasty people need…

With the twists and turns of “call me Dave” the genuine fear and borderline panic from certain quarters of the media, I can’t see any law controlling the press.

They are terrified that they will be unable to rubbish their enemies with impunity and that those same enemies could complain.

Its a bit scary, worrying and annoying that the main reasons to resist press control by law is that they don’t want to be answerable to anyone for what they say?

I suspect there are a few that would like a censored press but I think a free press is a vital and very necessary part of a democracy.

However, a free press shouldn’t be confused with an irresponsible press…

I hope for all or sakes they get it right…

Police: What price a life?

Written by RSS Poster Shijuro is not georgedixon's Blog

It used to be that there was no value for human life…but it would seem that when police officers are the targets of criminal behaviour it’s easy to calculate…

Five years is the going rate

A man convicted of the attempted murder of three police officers in Aberdeen by driving at them in a stolen car has received a 15-year sentence.

Robert Wemyss, 22, was driving a BMW X5 that had been stolen from Kingswells.

He was jailed for 10 years at the High Court in Dumbarton, with an extension period of five years.

Co-accused Martin Smart, 18, who was convicted of stealing the car, was jailed for a year.

Wemyss was earlier found guilty of car theft, dangerous driving and attempted murder, at the High Court in Aberdeen.

Well…there you are then… Five years each…

He wouldn’t have got that in the USA… He would have been shot dead…

5-years for the life of a person that may be on £19,000 a year…

Of course some CCs can see that 19K is more of an insult than a salary

Chief Constable Lynne Owens said police constable’s roles were “critical” and...

MP Eric Joyce who was arrested after a late night altercation in a House of Commons barMP Eric Joyce who was arrested after a late night altercation in a House of Commons bar

An MP forced out of the Labour party after a drunken brawl in a Commons bar was arrested again last night in similar circumstances.

A dozen police officers were called to a fracas at the Sports and Social bar in the Houses of Parliament last night, where Eric Joyce was at a karaoke night.

The MP for Falkirk, who now serves as an independent, was reportedly wrestled to the ground by officers in front of onlookers and loaded into a police van.

The 52-year-old former soldier was arrested last February over a brawl at the nearby Strangers’ bar in Parliament where he headbutted Tory MP Stuart Andrew.

He pleaded guilty to four counts of common assault and was fined £3,000 by magistrates.

Last night onlookers at the Sports and Social said Mr Joyce brought two officers to the ground and knocked another’s hat off.

It is believed he arrived at the venue earlier in the evening...

1. Don’t get coked/cracked/shit-faced to oblivion and start a fight-all of the aforementioned chemicals are not good for your heart…they place a massive strain on it. When you fight hard, the combination of drop in oxygen; increased strain due to unnatural chemicals; unnatural positions (prone/caged van/handcuffed) put strain on your  CV system-deadly strain…

2. When the Police arrest you, stay calm. Remember: chances are, with a good brief you will be walking from the Police station within 3-4 hours. Police want an easy life-if you are calm-they will be calm.

3. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES: fight with; attack or threaten the Police. They are likely to: get more people; CS you; TASER you; handcuff you; leg restrain you.

4. If for some reason you are handcuffed; leg restrained, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES continue to fight, swear, attempt to bite, spit at the Police as they will continue to use force on you to prevent same.

5. Should the Police arrive and you are...

Swamp estate Hurricane Appeal

A major hurricane (Hurricane Shazza) and an earthquake measuring 5.8 on the Richter Scale hit the Swamp in the early hours of Tuesday with its epicentre on the sink estate. Victims were seen wandering around aimlessly, muttering “fukinelll”.

The hurricane decimated the area causing …almost £30 worth of damage. Several priceless collections of mementos from Majorca and the Costa Del Sol were damaged beyond repair. Three areas of historic burnt out cars were disturbed. Many locals were woken well before their Giros arrived.

Swamp FM reported that hundreds of residents were confused and bewildered and were still trying to come to terms with the fact that something interesting had happened in West Exeter . One resident – Tracy Sharon Smith, a 15-year-old mother of 5 said, “It was such a shock, my little Chardonnay-Mercedes came running into my bedroom crying. My youngest two, Tyler-Morgan and Victoria-Storm slept through it all. I was still shaking when I was skinning up and watching Jeremy...

Toby Hayden, 27, flew into a rage in Chippenham, Wiltshire, after being told he had insufficient funds in his bank account and repeatedly battered Loretta Butterworth, 22, in the face. The brutal assault only ended when a mother and daughter heard Loretta screaming ‘please help me’ as Hayden held her with one hand and hit her with the other. When police arrived to arrest him he spat in the face of one police officer and tried to gouge the eyes of another…. He was on probation so I guess he was jail bound eh? Nahhh… Community sentence. This is what we deal with every day of the week… Of course call me Dave would have you believe violent crime is down and these type of incidents are falling… …of course he also stresses that the cops need reforming… We all know who is the real issue…its the seemingly never ending bizarre thinking of judges that needs to be tackled… Poor girl…she must be wondering why she bothered…
